Social Justice Indivisible is a collaboration of grassroots activists who support social justice, community building, and progressive ideals.
Indivisible was founded in 2016 by former congressional staffers who saw, from the inside, how grassroots pressure can shape political outcomes. What began as a practical guide for civic action quickly grew into a powerful, people-led movement.
We know that democracy only works when everyday people organize, show up, and hold those in power accountable.
Social Justice Indivisible strives to empower our communities to engage in personal and non-violent actions that support Social Justice, Environmental Protection, Healthcare for ALL, Voting Rights, Inclusiveness, Education, and the Dignity and Rights of every person regardless of race, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, citizenship status, political affiliation, or viewpoint.

We will be knocking doors for Margaret Burke for PA State House, as well as for Chris Thomas for PA State Senate. Occasional dates will include Bob Harvie for US Congress (to finally defeat Brian Fitzpatrick). Several dates available.

Choose any Tuesday between now and November 3 to make calls along with Chris's campaign. Calls are made using a direct dialer so you won't have to use your own cell number.

ELECTION PROTECTION IN PA
PA Democrats are mounting wide-ranging and important election protection efforts this year — and we are going to need it. The following training opportunities are available if you want to become more involved in protecting our elections here in Pennsylvania:
Poll Observer Training:

Poll Observers are the eyes and ears on the ground at polling places across the state on Election Day. They assist voters and ensure that every eligible voter can cast a ballot. We will train, assign, and support you to make sure that you are as effective as possible on Election Day. You can also sign up for a half day if necessary.
Election Office Monitor Training:

Observe outside of county election office locations, when voter registration, on-demand mail ballot voting, and ballot cure are available. Gather information about office procedures. Speak with voters. Monitor lines and wait times. Look out for attempted voter intimidation or interference. Report observations for follow up and resolution. Weekday and weekend shifts throughout late September and October.
Ballot Count Canvass Observer Training:

The "canvass" is the central location in each county where ballots are sorted and counted (“canvassed”). Begins at 7:00AM on Election Day and continues until the last vote is counted. Canvass Observers help ensure every vote is counted by monitoring the canvassing process, providing progress updates, & reporting any irregularities to the Voter Protection Team.

Intended to bring public awareness to the cruelty of ICE raids, detentions and deportations, these “Call to Conscience” vigils are peaceful, prayer-centered gatherings—not hate-ICE protests or acts of civil disobedience. They will include readings, prayers and singing.

No Kings, No Crowns, No Thrones - Vote NOW
October 17 could be the most important day of this election cycle.
Please plan to be there with Social Justice Indivisible and Indivisible Greater Jenkintown for a day of fun, joy and citizenship. Turning out the early mail ballot numbers will help to make the results of this election too big to deny.
Trump can't steal a landslide!
We'll meet at 10 am for a colorful rally at the Montco Voter Services Willow Grove Satellite Office, 102 N. York Rd., Willow Grove, and then stay to help direct and educate voters as they exercise their right to VOTE by requesting, completing and submitting their Mail-In Ballot. All eligible registered PA voters are welcome, no matter what party.
At 2 pm, we'll gather for another rally nearby in front of District Taco, 1475 Old York Rd., Abington.

Thank you for all who joined us for Postcard Palooza and this month's SJI General Meeting on September 28th. Together, we enjoyed a light dinner and wrote to about 1000 people to provide election information and encourage them to vote in the upcoming election on November 3rd!!
For our meeting, we were joined by two engaging and informative speakers regarding the issues of importance in the upcoming election.
Dr. Zeke discussed his perspective as a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and critical care specialist and concerned citizen. Learn about the issues facing Pennsylvanians and see his interviews with Pennsylvania Democrats running for election at:
Donald Rayne Mitchell discussed the history and current status of vaccines and we viewed his documentary, Forgetting to Remember - Lessons from A Vaccine Lost. Don is the founder and owner of Eyeline Pictures, LLC and member of the Medical History Pictures team. He has worked closely with the Vaccine Education Center at CHOP which provides a K-12 curriculum for vaccine education. Learn more about the importance of vaccinating the public and view the film at:
